Norwegian completes Great Wall of China walk Posted: 19 Dec 2010 10:13 AM PST 42-year-old Norwegian Robert Loken has became (self proclaimed) the first person in the world to have walked the Ming Dynasty Great Wall from end to end… Loken sold his house and quit work to follow his 21 year old dream of walking the Great Wall of China. 601 days after setting off from Jiayuguan in the Gobi desert, he arrived at the Hushan Great Wall on the North-Korean border on December 1, thus accomplished his epic mission. Quite a feat. Congrats. ADVERTISEMENTS Norwegian completes Great Wall of China walk from YeinJee's Asian Blog |
